In the discussion of style, or school of composition, like so many composers working today, Will doesn't fall into an easy label. Devoted to melody and lyricism, and believing that the exploration of the tonal universe via the last works of Debussy and Mahler remains incomplete, he works to explore the lush soundworlds where the tonal map of the world still has blank spots, and sea serpents can be still be seen threatening unwary navigators.

He also has been active in the sport of fencing for over 24 years, a professional coach for 16 of them.
